The history of Baccarat dates back to 1764 King Louis XV of France gave permission to found a glassworks in the town of Baccarat in the Lorraine region in eastern France. The company received their first royal commission in 1823 and has never looked back since then creating many commissions for heads of state and royalty around the world. Their jewellery is made from the highest quality crystal glass and each piece bears their signature as confirmation of it's authenticity and quality.
